1996 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd LOW MILES NO RUST

1996 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd LOW MILES NO RUST

1996 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd LOW MILES NO RUST - $3900

$3900. Looking to sell/partial trade my 1996 Dodge Ram 2wd. 318 v8. Has 103,005 miles on it right now, but may go up a little bit. Truck has no rust, power windows, power locks, dual exhaust, a/c blows cold, and heat blows warm. It has a small leveling/lift kit that was put on shortly before I bought it as well as having the shocks replaced at the same time. Truck rides a little rough because of this but tracks straight down the road. Tires were put on after the lift kit and they still have a lot of life left. Aftermarket Pioneer CD player with aux port in the back of it. Dash was replaced before I got it, so unlike most dodge trucks of this era it is not destroyed. Runs and drives great. Paint is pretty good and cleans up fairly well. No major dents or gouges, but the front fenders have chips in them from rocks, etc. Have had the truck for close to three years, purchased with 97,000 miles so I haven"t driven it much, and never drove it in the snow (rust free 20 year old dodge that I didn"t want to get covered in salt) but I have no doubts that it would do okay in the snow if you took it out in it. Truck has never let me down. I"ve changed the oil every 3 months and it got changed about 3 weeks ago. Most of the driving I do with it is short trips and I get around 11 mpg with it. For all the good with it, there are a couple of issues. The cruise control works, but drops off 15 mph before it kicks in. (Set it at 55 and it drops to 40 then holds speed) This is due to a tiny vacuum leak somewhere that I haven"t been able to locate yet. This same vacuum leak also causes the heat/ac to blow out of the defrost vents at higher rpm"s. It will blow out the vents a cruising speed though, so it hasn"t ever really bothered me. Interior is not too bad, but there is staining in the carpet and other minor blemishes. Truck has no drips, but uses a half a quart of oil or so between changes when driven frequently. As always CASH IS KING, but I will consider PARTIAL TRADE for a few different makes/models of vehicle. I"ll consider even trades, but the vehicle offered needs to be in equally good condition to mine. I"d like all possible trade offers to be mostly or completely rust free and have no more than 135,000 miles. Again, PARTIAL TRADE. I need to end up with cash in hand when the truck leaves my possession. Vehicles considered would be 3.8 v6 powered GM cars, preferably Monte Carlos or Impalas however other pontiacs/buicks are fine, but no oldsmobiles. 4.3 v6 powered s10"s, nissan pathfinder, non-turbo volkswagen beetles, ext. cab or 4 door dodge dakota (manual transmission preferred). As you can see, I"m fairly particular about what I want and selling the truck outright is most likely going to be easier and waste less of my time. If you are trying to trade, please send pictures (inside and out) and be thorough with your description. I do not want or need a boat or motorcycle, so please don"t ask. Please call after 5:30 on weekdays, or text (reasonable hours) any time. My name is Jacob (217) seven3seven-three48eight. Clean title in hand.
